    Project Description

    Resurfacing and paving shoulders on Alta Drive from New Berlin Road to State Road 9A and on New Berlin Road from Zoo Parkway to Alta Drive (1.5 miles). Superior Construction Company of Jacksonville and Connelly and Wicker teamed up to build and design the project beginning December 21, 2009 with the design to be following by construction starting in March 2010. Total contract days are 270 and the total cost is $3,442,001. This project is overseen by the Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) and is a federal economic stimulus project. (4262101)
