Also, traffic is detoured around an area just north of Depot Avenue using Fourth Avenue and Sixth Street while the roadway is reconstructed. Local traffic has access and all businesses in the area are open and accessible.

Interstate 10 Asphalt Repairs from Macclenny to the Nassau County line
July 31 - August 6, 2010: Daytime lane closures after 8:15 a.m. Wednesday and Thursday (postponed for last two weeks) for eastbound and westbound traffic from west of State Road 121 in Macclenny to the Nassau County line for asphalt repairs.

South Fifth Street (State Road 228) just south of Macclenny Closed for Railroad Crossing Repairs
July 31 - August 6, 2010: The road will be totally closed from Monday, August 2 until Friday, August 13 while the railroad crossing just south of Macclenny Avenue (U.S. 90) is replaced. All through traffic is detoured to Lowder Street (County Road 23A) and South Sixth Street (State Road 121). All pedestrians will be detoured to West McIver Avenue or Railroad Avenue.

U.S. 90 Resurfacing from Sanderson to the Nassau County line
July 31 - August 6, 2010: Daytime lane closures from Sanderson to Glen St. Mary to resurface the roadway.

Bradford

U.S. 301 and State Road 100 Intersection Widening
July 31 - August 6, 2010: Nighttime lane closure at the intersection of State Road 100 in Starke between 8:30 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. as crews widen the intersection. No work will be allowed on weekends.

Clay

County Road 209 Bridge Replacement over Black Creek
July 31 - August 6, 2010: Lane closings cannot occur between 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Lanes will be closed at various times of the day, and two-way traffic will be maintained using flaggers. This project should be finished in the fall of 2011.

S.R. 16 Resurfacing between the Shands Bridge and U.S. 17
July 31 - August 6, 2010: One lane may be closed nightly in both directions between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. This project will be finished in late 2010.

State Road 21 Widening between Old Jennings Road and Knight Boxx Road
July 31 - August 6, 2010: No lane closings are scheduled for next week. This project is scheduled to be finished in the spring of 2011.

State Road 23 Overpass Construction at Plantation Oaks
July 31 - August 6, 2010: S.R. 23 at Plantation Oaks Boulevard WILL BE TOTALLY CLOSED on the night of Tuesday, August 3 between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. Detour signs will be posted. The new bridge should open in early fall.

U.S. 17/Doctors Inlet Bridge Widening between Milwaukee Avenue and Creighton Road
July 31 - August 6, 2010: No lane closings are scheduled next week. The estimated completion time for this project is in August.

Columbia

I-75 at I-10 Resurfacing and Pole Installation
July 31 - August 6, 2010: Daytime lane closures for northbound traffic north of Interstate 10 on Tuesday and Wednesday to replace asphalt from the Suwannee Valley Road overpass to the Suwannee County line. Also, various lanes will be closed Monday and Tuesday nights between 8:30 p.m. and 5 a.m. at the northbound ramp to Interstate 10 westbound and Wednesday and Thursday nights at the southbound ramp to I-10 eastbound for routine bridge maintenance.

July 31 - August 6, 2010: Lanes will be closed next week at various locations within the project limits from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily from Monday, August 2 through Friday, August 6. Emerson Street Traffic Signal Improvement between I-95 and Copper Circle
July 31 - August 6, 2010: No lane closings are schedule for next week. The project should be finished this fall.

Hart Bridge Repainting and Structural Repair
July 31 - August 6, 2010: Full bridge closings will occur Monday through Thursday nights from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. and on weekends from 6 a.m. on Saturday until 6 a.m. on Monday. Northbound lane closings can occur between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m., and southbound lane closings can occur between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. This work should be finished in early 2011. Please note that weekend bridge closing times have changed. The bridge will be open for Jaguar football scrimmage traffic at Everbank Field Friday night, August 6.

The ramp to I-10 eastbound from Chaffee Road WILL BE TOTALLY CLOSED on Monday, August 2 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Detour signs will be posted. Single lanes on Chaffee Road near I-10 will be closed in both directions nightly from 7:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. from Sunday, August 1 through Friday, August 6. Cahoon Road between Devoe Street and Ramona Boulevard will be closed from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 31. Detour signs will be posted. This project is scheduled to be completed in the spring of 2012.

July 31 - August 6, 2010: Various lanes will be closed in both directions nightly from 9:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. from Sunday, August 1 through Tuesday, August 3 for routine bridge maintenance.

July 31 - August 6, 2010: One southbound lane will be closed on Monday, August 2 from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. for roadway maintenance.

I-95/S.R. 9A East Interchange Reconstruction near JIA
July 31 - August 6, 2010: Various ramps and traffic movements WILL BE TOTALLY CLOSED nightly between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. from Monday, August 2 through Friday, August 6. Detour signs will be posted. Lanes will be closed on I-95 southbound within the project limits between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. from Monday, August 2 through Friday, August 6. The flyover ramp from I-95 south to S.R. 9A east should be open to traffic this summer.

July 31 - August 6, 2010: The ramp from Adams Street to I-95 southbound WILL BE TOTALLY CLOSED on Monday, August 2 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. I-95 northbound within the project limits WILL BE TOTALLY CLOSED from Wednesday, August 4 through Friday, August 6 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. The ramp from I-10 eastbound to I-95 northbound WILL BE TOTALLY CLOSED between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. on Friday, August 6. Detour signs will be posted. Lane closings may occur at various locations within the project limits on I-10 and I-95 and on the side streets between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. The anticipated completion time for this project is late 2010 or early 2011.

July 31 - August 6, 2010: Daytime lane closures between State Road 24 in Otter Creek and Southeast Fourth Street in Chiefland to place the final layer of asphalt.

Madison

State Road 53 between U.S. 90 and the Hamilton County line Repaint Roadway Markings
July 31 - August 6, 2010: Crews will be repainting the roadway lines between U.S. 90 and the Hamilton County line.

U.S. 221 at U.S. 90 Closed Beginning July 6
July 31 - August 6, 2010: The intersection with U.S. 90 is completely closed for up to three months while crews remove contaminated soil from an old abandoned gas station at the intersection. Traffic is detoured from U.S. 221 to U.S. 90 and County Roads 140 and 150 (5-mile detour). Also, crews will be repainting the roadway lines between the Taylor County line and the Georgia state line.

Nassau

State Road 200 Widening between Griffin Road and Stratton Road
July 31 - August 6, 2010: Single lanes will be closed daily in both directions between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at various locations within the project limits from Monday, August 2 through Friday, August 6. This project should be finished in the summer of 2011.

State Road A1A Resurfacing from the Nassau Sound Bridge to Atlantic Avenue
July 31 - August 6, 2010: One lane will be closed daily at the intersection of S.R. A1A and the Buccaneer Trail daily from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. from Monday, August 2 through Friday, August 6. Two-way traffic will be maintained using flaggers. This project should be finished in the summer of 2011.

July 31 - August 6, 2010: On Wednesday, August 4, 2010, power will be transferred to the new cabinet operating the traffic signals at the intersections of King Street and Cathedral Street at the Bridge of Lions. Police will be directing traffic during this power transfer from approximately 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. No lane closures or channel closures are scheduled at the Bridge of Lions Rehabilitation Project area during the week of August 2, 2010. July 31 - August 6, 2010: Pablo Road remains closed until early 2011 for replacement with a new bridge. Local traffic is being detoured westbound to Pablo Drive, Pablo Road, Ponte Vedra Boulevard, Miranda Road, San Juan Drive and back to Pablo Road. Eastbound traffic is being detoured to San Juan Drive, Miranda Road, Ponte Vedra Boulevard and back to Pablo Road.
